THE SOUND IT LINGERS.
OF HER VOICE INSIDE MY HEAD, THE ONLY COMFORT FROM THE NIGHT.
ONE TINY SOLECISM, THAT'S ALL IT TOOK,
TO HAVE THE STONES OF MY LIVELIHOOD SHOOK.
OF ALL THE AWFUL THINGS TO OVERCOME,
THIS CERTAINLY WON'T BE ONE.
YET THIS IS HOW THE MELODY'S SCORED,
AND IF YOU'VE PAID ATTENTION, YOU'VE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE.
IF THE SOUND WILL ONLY LINGER,
WILL I MEET THE END OF THIS ATROPHY?
CONCLUSIONS AND UNTIMELY DELUSIONS.
IF I END, WILL THE LIFE WITH HER SURELY BEGIN?
SCREAMING FOR HER AS IF SHE CAN HEAR ME.
LOOKING FOR A SIGN, A ROPE, A NOOSE.
SOMETHING TO CUT ME LOOSE.
IF DARKNESS SURROUNDS ME,
TRAP INSIDE THE MELODY.
CONTAIN MY SOUL WITH HERS.
WHEREVER YOU MAY BE,
(WHEREVER YOU MAY BE)
JUST KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT THE BANE.
(YOU ARE NOT TO BLAME)
IT'S JUST THE TRAGEDY MY DEAR IN SWEET REFRAIN.
ONE TINY SOLECISM, THAT'S ALL IT TOOK,
TO HAVE THE STONES OF MY LIVELIHOOD SHOOK.
OF ALL THE AWFUL THINGS TO OVERCOME,
THIS CERTAINLY WON'T BE ONE.
YET THIS IS HOW THE MELODY'S SCORED,
AND IF YOU'VE PAID ATTENTION, YOU'VE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE.
I SWAM IN HER EYES, NOW SHE'LL SWIM IN THE SEA.
STUCK IN THE SONG THAT NOTHING SHOULD SING.
(A TRAGEDY IN SWEET REFRAIN)
CAST IN THE NOTES TO THE BOTTOM,
CAST IN THE SOUNDS OF THE CURSED THEME,
TAKE ME TO THE OVERLOOK,
THE LAST THING I'LL SEE.
THE PLACE I CAN'T REST, THE HEIGHT ABOVE THIS SEA.
THE ROPE FROM WHICH I'LL SWING,
GAZING UPON ETERNITY.

I cannot believe this is Terraform’s FIRST ALBUM—they came out of nowhere with an intense, yet original sound. I hear hints of Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, Volumes, and Elitist, but I cannot “compare” this band to any of the aforementioned. Every member of the band is obviously a master of his respective instrument, and the vocals are top notch. Moreover, Terraform’s technical riffs/grooves are melodically tied together in a way I have not heard before. In sum, buy Dream|Construct. Josiah Johns
Oh how I love Harkla - long live the THALL! Album is so groovy and heavy. Mix is nice and phat and full of low end that make the subs bump. Awesome vocals, rocking extended range guitars, punishing percussion. :) For fans of HLB, Vildhjarta, Meshuggah and other thallish metal tunes that completely pwn. Chris Wightman
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
The Philly trio have been making technical but not impenetrable instrumental metal for nearly two decades. Their latest shreds, of course. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 8, 2016
